Hi, welcome to La Luma! I’m Katarina and I’m a Master Stylist at La Luma Salon and Academy. I’ve been a part of the La Luma team since 2019 and I’m certified in Surface Hair Care and Colour. I love being creative, forming an amazing bond with my guests and leaving them looking beautiful. The perfect day in the salon for me involves cutting, barbering, blonding, and fantasy colours mixed with good conversation. Hey there! I’m Alyssa, a Senior Stylist at La Luma! I finished the hairstyling program at La Luma Academy in August 2022 and I am beginning the next stage of my career as an apprentice. I am passionate about blonding, blunt cuts and barbering, and also love a good colour transformation! I am certified in Surface Hair Care and Colour and love to share my knowledge with my guests about products and overall hair health. I enjoy getting to know my guests and creating a good relationship with everyone who sits in my chair. I can’t wait to meet you and bring all your hair dreams to life!

Hi! I’m Hannah and I am a new apprentice here at La Luma. I completed the hairstyling program at the Academy in November 2022 and I am excited to be a part of the team. I am certified in Surface Hair Care and Colour and passionate about helping guests with all hair care needs. My favourite services are balayages, layered and curly haircuts, and barbering! Senior stylists are highly skilled in their craft. They have a rich depth of knowledge and technical skills to create a unique new look or expertly maintain a look you already love. They will make professional recommendations that support your desired hair goals and hair health. Senior stylists are efficient, effective and creative with current and upcoming trends. They have taken a wide range of advanced training in both leadership and technical skill! We recommend booking at least 4 weeks in advance.

Apprentices are stylists that have a solid foundation of technical skills. They were top of their class at La Luma Academy and were hired because of their consistent technical skills, enthusiasm, and leadership demonstrated during their time as a student. They offer creativity, a zest for life and are often the trendsetters of the Salon! Apprentices have begun taking advanced training in both leadership and technical skill. We recommend booking at least 3 weeks in advance.

Student stylists are salon floor ready and engaged in learning their craft. They have honed the fundamentals of classroom theory, technical skills and mannequin practice, and are now ready to practice in a real salon setting with guests. Give them the gift of learning from experience, while receiving a professional service at an affordable rate. Plan extra time for your service as they are learning and consulting with the Salon Floor Leads. We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance.
Please note: Student Stylists offer services on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday —they do not work on weekends.

While at La Luma Salon you will meet our Salon Floor Leads. These are the leaders on the Salon Floor who ensure every service at La Luma Salon is successful. Leads are Senior and Master Stylists who are highly trained professionals. They will listen to the consultation, review the stylist plan, support the stylist in communicating what is and is not achievable for your hair based on the hairs health, your budget and time.
The Leads are available to you throughout your service and are always there to ensure you have a great experience at La Luma! You may choose to learn alongside the Stylist the Leads are working with or sit back and relax knowing you are in great hands.
