Nice Gals Finish Last
At the end of the day, we’re going into the world to win, not to lose.
What do you want people to say about you when you’re gone? What do you want to be known for? What do you want your legacy to be?
Sounds a bit morbid, but none of us are leaving this planet alive, and it’s very effective, very powerful to get why you’re here, and where you’re going.
Do you want to be known for being nice, or being powerful? Being small and safe, or living with honour and integrity.
What do you stand for? What’s important to you?
And it doesn’t always mean you’re going to be nice.
Nice people really do finish last.
Nice just means you helped me believe my own nonsense.
Being nice isn’t always what people need. You can be respectful, kind, honest, and compassionate. Ruthlessly compassionate. The people who I seek out in my life are the people who are going to talk straight with me. I don’t have to like it, but I will respect it. I don’t have to like you, but if you’re straight with me, I’ll respect you.
