Kit Kat Humanity
I need to give myself a break at times. Let myself off the hook. I’m only human. And I know at times that I’m going to show up as an assassin, ignoring, not communicating, taking people out in my life, when I’m stretched or upset, or think I’m threatened.
I can choose to create a different outcome, to show up differently. AND it’s ok if I don’t get there right away. I can be shitty as a boss, as a leader, as a husband, a father. And when I’m shitty, it has a certain quality to it.
Right or wrong. It’s a very limited view of the world. It’s narrow, stingy, righteous. And that’s ok for a time. Beating myself up about it just keeps it going. Realizing it, and choosing something different with a smile, is where the power is. Choosing to be a shifter, a changer, willing to show up as vulnerable, powerful, and a human that makes mistakes.
