Girls Just Want To Have Fun.

How long have you been dating your current boyfriend? Since you were in high school? Why do you keep it going?

As a hairdresser today, you need to be self-sufficient. You need to be master of your own paycheque, master of your own mind, your own heart, and of everything that happens in your life.

How you become masterful is getting and giving NO’s. That’s the one thing we all hate the most: rejection. But rejection is where you learn the most. Getting out and meeting new people and testing how you are in relationships is how you achieve mastery.

This is also how you build a clientele. It’s like dating. You’ve got to go through a number of people to see who’s a real fit. And along the way, you have fun, discover who you are, what you want, and who you want to work with. It’s ok not to get it right, as long as you learn from it.

Who do you want to work with on the salon floor? Who are your ideal clients? What if you were an equal partner in choosing them? As a true artist, this means living on the skinny end of the branches, which really transfers into a fulfilled and desirable life.

So get out there, dump that old comfortable shoe. Get and give some No’s. And leave them better then you found them.
